Job Description

The Pembroke Pines YMCA seeks a part-time experienced Program Coordinator for Arts and Dance Programs. Under the supervision of the Program Director – The Program Coordinator assists in a variety of functions including, communication, reporting, planning, marketing and evaluation of the art and dance programs. The Program Coordinator supports participation and retention by supervising part-time staff, assisting in the planning and execution of appropriate programs to achieve strategic goals and provide outstanding customer service to all students and parents.

Qualifications

2 Years experience in teaching dance classes

1 - 3 years experience in working with school aged children

AED Certified

First Aid Certified

Minimum age 21 years or older

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

AA/AS degree or equivalent in related field required

Drug Test and Criminal Background Check required
